Marwa Othman is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for CEED Tunisia. She has accumulated 14 years of work experience in development working on electoral affairs, gender, governance and monitoring and evaluation with international organizations in New York, Cairo and Tunisia.
She acted as the MEAL Coordinator with Oxfam International in Tunisia. Before moving to Tunisia, she served with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) as the Senior Project Specialist.
During 2016-2017, she was the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with CARE International. Ms. Othman was the National Electoral Officer for UNDP’s electoral assistance project from 2011-2014. Prior to UNDP, Ms. Othman has four years of experience as a research assistant at the Security Council Division at UN Headquarters in New York. Ms. Othman obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tufts University (2001) and a Master of Public Administration and Policy from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University (2009).
